Description:

A hidden gem in plain site. Uncovering what happened and didn't happen in the colorful history of Glen Canyon Park. The opening of the Mission Zoo in the 1800's was labeled "The sensation of the century". Designated a significant natural area. The last above ground creek open to the public.Limit 15 hikers, rain cancels. Transportation BART OR BUS #44,52,23,36

Notes:

Wear STURDY SHOES and be able to crouch down to go under the willow branches. Terrain is uneven and can be slippery when wet. There is POISON OAK in the canyon. Considered a VIGOROUS HIKE
